Our Founder
Abdul-Jaami Hakim Yamini, President
Abdul-J. Hakim Yamini, a native Atlantan, is the father of five children. Hakim is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Political Science and Economics. He served in the US Navy for six years.
Hakim is the founder and managing director of TLC Consultancy. TLC Consultancy is an Atlanta based family business enterprise that specializes in organization and community planning and development.
Hakim has served in the leadership of several non-profit organizations such as New Africa Leadership Development Institute (NALDI), Inc., The Natural Family Life Foundation (NFLF), Believers for One Humanity, Inc.(BFOH) and the National Synergy Center, Inc. (NSC). He also served on the boards of the APEX Museum and Cultural Center, Inc., the Sweet Auburn Area Improvement Association, Inc. and the Atlanta Community Empowerment Corporation. He has worked as a consultant with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Department of Energy, and East Medinah Village, LLC.
